My Dog

My wife Kathy and I decided five years ago to look for a new member of our family. I found Cooper online, advertised by a family about one hour outside of Panama City. He is a pure bread Doberman. On a Saturday we drove out there to go take a look. It was clear to us right away that he would go home with us that afternoon !

Every since, he has been a big part of our lives and of all in our church family. With his special character he keeps us on our toes, but also knows how to relax and calm us down. We think that God has given us the perfect dog to fit our family and we really cannot imagine our daily life without him. Yes, he is a big, powerful dog, but at the same time, he is really a cuddle-bug. I think we do spoil him a little to much, while at the same time maintaining order and a clear structure. We spent time with him every morning and evening outside in the garden. During the day he is with us in the office.

When we do travel, we have trusted friends/ family that house sit for us, and he clearly understands that we are only gone for a while and will come back. I think the best thing every day is the joy we receive from him when we return, even if we just go out for a few moments or hours. Here are some photos for you to enjoy, as we are clearly blessed to have him.
